"¿Qué Haces?"
I am currently the webmaster and technology coordinator for The Concord Consortium, a non-profit, educational research group. They do a lot of work involving integrating technology into learning. Most recently I've been doing a lot of web application development work. Some of the more recent projects are:
My associate webmaster, David Jarsky and I, are working on a really nice redesign of the main Concord Web site.
I'm often also telecommuting to the west coast, working as the webmaster and lead programmer for the CELCEE and Community College Studies groups at UCLA and for the Council for the Study of Community Colleges.
I've also been very busy with contract work:
- Creating a web site for a popular French bistro in Concord, MA, La Provence
- Developing web-based games, such as those showcased on my Burney Kids Site, for an East Coast educator.
- Creating a web site for a superb visual and performing arts group in Southeastern Massachusetts, The SMARTS Collaborative
If you need a web-programmer, I'm probably busy, but I'm interested to hear what you are looking for.
My most recent personal web development is the Athol, Massachusetts information site at athol.info. We recently moved to the town and I'll be gathering what information I can and posting it to help others in the community.
Though I'm using various versions of my two main open source projects, Sassy! and MySTRI in the work I do daily, I've not had a chance to refactor and redistribute them yet. Maybe summer of 2005 will see the new versions come out. By the way, this site is actually running with Sassy! right now. If you like this site, you should check it out.
